Can't face another mince pie? Use up your leftovers with this heroic recipe
• Makes 16 squares
• 150 grams dark chocolate
• 150 grams milk chocolate
• 4 mince pies
• Zest from one orange
• 50 grams blanched almonds, roughly chopped
• Icing sugar, to dust
1. Grease and line a 20x20 baking tin. Melt the chocolates together and spread half onto the bottom of the baking tin. Put in the freezer to chill for 5 minutes.
2. Meanwhile roughly chop the mince pies and add to the remaining chocolate, along with the almonds and orange zest. Press this mix into the tin and leave to chill until set.
3. Cut into squares.
